Or is this a Volt unit.? Now I'm not to sure. Overall it doesn't matter on this project.

I decided to buy the booster.

After much research, getting the connectors, purchasing a Chevy

Bolt service manual CD, sorting out its 6500 pages and

diagrams, I was then able to fire it up on the bench. It works great!

(These new connectors are a REAL chore for this old-school guy.)

I can push the brake actuating rod by hand with little effort.

It did pull about 10 - 15 amps, so I can see why the fuses are 40s.

It only pulled a few amps when slowly operated.

It also has a "time-out" feature that lets the booster run for about

30 seconds or so after the ignition signal feed is disconnected.

This thing is pretty danged cool!

I think I've got a line on a better looking and shorter reservoir.
